What data is collected

• Chatbot messages: when you talk to the chat, your messages are processed to generate responses. The chat never asks for personally identifiable information, and you should not submit any.
• Usage analytics: anonymous browsing data (pages visited, duration, device type) helps me understand how the site is used.

How data is used

• Chat messages are used solely to answer questions about my professional experience.
• Conversation traces are stored in anonymized form to improve answer quality and to detect misuse attempts.
• Analytics data is used to understand usage patterns and improve site performance.

Third parties

• Anthropic (Claude): processes chatbot messages to generate responses.
• OpenAI: converts chat queries into embeddings so the relevant site content can be retrieved.
• Supabase: hosts the site's own content index used to ground chat answers. Your messages are not stored there.
• Langfuse: stores anonymized conversation traces for observability and quality improvement.
• Vercel: hosts the website and collects anonymous usage analytics.
• Resend: delivers an internal alert email to me if the chat detects a misuse attempt.

Cookies and browser storage

This site does not use tracking cookies or third-party cookies. Browser localStorage keeps interface preferences like the visual theme and the ambient audio setting. Session storage keeps short-lived state for the current visit, such as whether the intro animation has played and a random identifier that groups your chat messages into one conversation. None of it identifies you personally.

No user accounts

This site does not require registration or login. No names, emails, or passwords are collected through the website.
